Memories during a time of self-isolation, reflecting on a collection of old photographs, reminiscing about simple food memories from my childhood that brought me joy as a little one. These recollections often carry a nostalgic touch, transporting me to times long gone, conjuring an image from the past in my mind.

In this series, I’ve encapsulated these sentiments into a set of minimalist conceptual images, weaving together the essence of those bygone moments. To enhance the narrative, I’ve incorporated vintage kitchen utensils discovered in my grandmother’s shed, adding a tactile connection to the past. As the world underwent a period of uncertainty during the COVID-19 pandemic, these images serve as a visual journey through cherished memories, offering solace and connection with the simplicity of the past.
