SEEDS //
Building on my previous explorations of ‘sprouting’ and the evolutionary process in foods, my current inspiration stems from the foundational step—the development of seeds driven by the cycles of nature.
A ‘seed’ serves as the primary survival organ in seed plants, vital for the reproduction cycle. These small embryos, encapsulated in protective shells, represent the product of matured mother plants. Often, their development initiates within the fruit itself. In nature, dispersion occurs through the plant’s mechanisms, wind, water, or animals.
In this series, I direct the focus onto these intricate entities, employing optical glass to captivate the viewer’s attention and provide a unique perspective on the essential role seeds play in the natural world.
